In this five-storey home in Aravaca, Madrid, which involved both the construction process and the decoration, the challenge was to radically change the look while maintaining many of the pre-existing furnishings, in the case of the common areas, and to make the new kitchen, which was designed with a lot of black, look luminous. By wallpapering the walls with bold prints, using bold colours and fabrics, the studio stepped out of its usual palette and tone for homeowners who wanted something a little bolder.
